![]() ![]() The console buttons don't work with bootmii as IOS. My BootMii is currently installed as IOS. How the reset / power / eject buttons work ? Can you navigate without GameCube Controller ? - Sca.nab 12:51, (UTC)Īs Roofus mentioned below ( #Installs and boots ok, but controller doesn't respond), I'm not having any luck with the reset/power/eject buttons those buttons maintain their primary functions. We also support navigation using the reset / power / eject buttons on the front of the Wii. (Actually, it's almost technically impossible to use the WIimotes at such a low level, so we are supporting GC pads out of necessity.) - Bushing 12:23, 19 April 2009 (UTC)ĭoes this mean that people that don't have a gamecube controller can't control the bootmii menu? If so, would it be possible to use the reset button on the wii to scroll through the menu and the power button to select something? I play most of my games and run most homebrew with Gamecube controllers, since I don't like having to change batteries in my Wiimotes all the time, and I hate having to use Wiimotes to start my Wii. I do not know if it has already been thought of, but I would love if the BootMii menu would support Gamecube controllers. ![]() I wonder If I use betwiin to convert keys and restore a backup from a wii ( has bootmii as boot2 ) to my wii ( has boot2 bootmii too ) will bootmii still exist as boot2 after the restore process ? Is there any possibility of bricking my wii when doing this ?
